David has 40 years experience in the safety field with heavy concentration in fleet safety and DOT compliance. He spent the first 15 years of his career working for two regional trucking companies.  In this capacity he established fleet safety programs and addressed a wide range of fleet issues.   Dave then went to head up the safety department of a large multi-national truck leasing company.  In this role he and his staff of 12 professional safety specialists where responsible for developing individual safety and compliance programs for a wide range of customers across the US.  For a year he was involved in providing similar services as a private consultant prior to joining with High Safety Consulting.  Dave continues to monitor the activities of the US DOT and can assist your organization with fleet requirements if you have one truck or 10,000.  Dave can assist with compliance audits and program development including site security safety plans for hazardous materials, required driver training, road test requirements, driver files, registrations, substance abuse testing specifications, medical clearance and a wide range of compliance topics.
