Richard K. Hofman, BS, CIH, CSP CPEA is a senior safety and health consultant with High Safety Consulting Services. Richard was actively involved as a principal consultant and vice-president with Hofman Safety and Industrial Hygiene over the past 18 years. He is a board certified safety professional and industrial hygienist. Richard is also certified as a professional environmental auditor in health and safety. He holds a BS from Wilkes University in Environmental Sciences. He was recognized by the American Society of Safety Engineers as Safety Professional of the Year in 1995 and again in 2005. He is an instructor-trainer for OSHA training institute. Richard is currently employed full-time as the Safety & Health Manager for the VA Hospital in Lebanon and assists High Safety Consulting on a part-time basis. He has over 25 years experience including work with a specialty chemical company, a secondary lead smelter and an environmental consulting organization. He has provided services to a wide range of industries and organizations.
