The supervision and management personnel of a company are the
key players in supporting the safety process. We provide development
programs to help managers and supervisors understand their individual
roles in safety. The programs focus on specific skill sets or
required knowledge to properly support the safety process. Specific
programs can be combined and customized to meet the needs of your
organization.
OSHA Authorized 10-hour or 30-hour Construction or General Industry Course. Provides participants an in-depth understanding of OSHA and key regulations impacting the workplace.
Supervisors' Responsibilities in Safety and Health. This course focuses on the broad responsibilities every supervisor has in the area of safety and health of his / her employees. (1/2 day)
Accident
Investigation. This program provides some theory and lots of practical
approaches to effective accident investigation. The class concludes
with a role-play investigation. (1/2 day)
Crisis
Management. This program helps prepare supervisors and managers
deal with potential crisis situations within the company —
from workplace death to product sabotage. (1/2 day)
Safety
Management of Sub-Contractors. Sub-contractors can significantly
impact the safety of construction and fixed sites. This program
outlines steps to take to control this risk. (1/2 day)
Cost
Justification. This program provides managers tools they can use
to determine the best and most cost effective approaches to correcting
safety issues in their plant. (1/2 - 1 day).
Managerial
/ Supervisory Assessment Program. This session is customized based
on a pre-survey that is completed by the staff. The survey statistically
determines the attitudes and perceptions of the group. A program
is then customized based on the group's perceptions and goals.
This assessment tool can also be used as an independent measure
of the supervisory staff's perceptions of safety.
